Dr Andrew Smith


Dr Smith has been at Cavendish Road Clinic since 1992. He has a strong interest in treating children and their families as well as sports medicine (eg Brisbane Lions AFL team).

Dr Smith is available Monday to Friday.

Dr Smith is not currently accepting new patients.

Dr Kieran Miles


Dr Miles commenced at the Clinic in January 2008. His interests include sports medicine with an emphasis on managing issues for female athletes, skin cancer management and children’s health. He enjoys the variety of family medicine and also performs anti-wrinkle injections.

Dr Miles is available Monday to Friday.

Dr Miles is not currently accepting new patients.

Dr Paul McConnell

MBBS(Qld) B Sci(Med) FRACGP,M.Sp Med (UNSW)

Dr McConnell has been at Cavendish Road Clinic since 1994 practising family medicine. He has involvement in a number of elite sports including the Club Medical Officer of the Brisbane Lions AFL. He has a Masters in Sports Medicine from UNSW. Dr McConnell is using cutting edge Protein Rich Plasma therapy to enhance healing of musculo skeletal conditions in particular osteoarthritis of the knees. He is also able to perform other interventional procedures as required.

Dr McConnell is available Monday to Friday.

Dr McConnell is not currently accepting new patients unless it is for PRP.

Dr Maria Sharkey


Dr Maria Sharkey joined the team at Cavendish Road Clinic in 2006 and values the long term care she is able to provide to the patients and families she looks after. Maria enjoys all aspects of Family Medicine including paediatrics, Women’s Health, chronic health condition management and geriatric care.  Maria is accredited to provide Shared Care in pregnancy with the Mater Mother’s Hospital. When she is not at work, Maria enjoys spending time with family, art and exploring the beauty of nature.

Dr Sharkey is available Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Dr Andrew Fahey


Dr Andrew Fahey graduated from the University of Queensland in 2011 and has worked as a GP in Cairns, Brisbane and Northern NSW for over a decade. He has recently moved back home to Brisbane and enjoys all aspects of family medicine, including men’s health, antenatal care, paediatrics and chronic disease management. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys bushwalking, amateur astronomy, travel and pop culture.

Dr Fahey is available Monday to Friday

Dr Jeanine McMullan


Dr McMullan was trained in general practice at Liverpool University, England and has been vocationally registered as a GP in Australia for over 20 years.  She has three young children and enjoys all aspects of family medicine, especially IVF/pre-conception, antenatal and breast feeding support, children’s health and care of the elderly.

Dr McMullan is available Monday and Thursday.

Dr Felicity Hattin

MBBS FRACGP BSc Dip Child Health

Dr Felicity Hattin values the trust her patients put in her, and enjoys providing long term care to families and individuals. She has particular interests and extra training in paediatrics, antenatal care, and women’s health; and is an aligned GP to provide shared antenatal care with Metro South Hospitals. She can perform Implanon insertions and iron infusions with prior consultation.
Dr Felicity enjoys spending time with her young family, crafting, reading and beach getaways.

Dr Hattin is available Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Dr Sarah Jongbloed


Dr Sarah Jongbloed gained her medical degree from theUniversity of Queensland in 2012 and prior to that time worked in immunological research at the University of Tasmania and the University of Glasgow, UK, where she gained a PhD in Immunology in 2006.

She undertook her early medical training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital working in emergency medicine, general medicine, general surgery, infectious diseases, cardiology, haematology, psychiatry and paediatrics (at The Royal Children’s Hospital).

Dr Sarah thoroughly enjoys all aspects of GP care, inparticular family and chronic medicine, and specifically enjoys providing continuity of care with a thorough and thoughtful patient centred approach.

Tuesday and Thursday.

Dr Indee Poddalgoda


Dr Indee Poddalgoda is a Specialist General Practitioner and has been practicing medicine since 2008. Having worked in Darwin for several years, she is experienced in general medicine, general surgery, psychiatry, cardiology, emergency medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics, gynaecology, and oncology.

Dr Indee obtained a Diploma in Child Health from The University of Sydney and has completed further training in women’s health gaining a Certificate in Women’s Health from Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). Dr Indee is certified for IUD/Implanon insertion and is accredited as a shared antenatal care provider with Mater Hospital.

Dr Indee is available Monday to Friday.
